INNER KINDER COLLECTIVE Healing through Poetry

  Minor touch that burnt my fingertips. Simmering pain that only lasts a second. Maybe a second too long. I could replace it with flowers one day. Call it my Phoenix rising from the dead.  It's blinding. Maybe curtains would shield me from the sun one day. It's unnerving. Building a new home. Brick by brick. Slowly. Fast. Then, slow again. It came in pieces. Put them together; together.  Attached trees. With hanging vines and fruits. The sweetest fruits. The ones made from the deepest rooted tree. Planted from centuries of love. Nurtured by change and often forgotten. But still there.  Entangled in the ground. Rooted together. Next to the Home. With beautiful wild flowers that were planted together.  

 Them: Who are we to you?  Jonnie is smart, beautiful and kind. Jonnies is ambitious, courageous and curious. Jonnie is wild and free. Safe and guarded. Scared. But still brave. Jonnie is my sister. And she's amazing.  Saylor is beautiful, passionate and free. Saylor is reliant and guarded. Saylor is softspoken and loud laughter. Saylor is comforting and strong. Saylor is beautiful and bright. Saylor is my sister. And she's unbelievably the best addition we could have asked for.  Bridget is tall, mindful, beautiful and slightly less graceful. Bridget is outspoken and brave. With courage like hers, what's there to be scared of. Bridget is young and has the mostest amount of potential. Bridget is my sister. And she's magical.  Tyler is a half mystery. Tyler feels more than he likes to admit. Tyler is strong. Tyler is loved. Tyler is a mystery I want to solve. Because Tyler is my brother.
