Your Name & Mine
Hello, my name is Once Was.
I lived between storms, building shelter out of silence. I tried to tape the broken edges with faith I didn’t yet understand. My laughter was a ghost that didn’t know how to come home to.
Hello, my name is Almost.
I’ve been halfway healed a thousand times. I’m learning the rhythm of surrender, forgetting, remembering, and forgiving again.
Somewhere between heartbreak and hope, I planted a seed called Still Here.
Hello, my name is Remembered.
I am the whisper that survived the noise. I am the child who kept the candle lit in the dark. Every scar, which I’ve named lessons, now glows like lanterns.
Hello, my name is Becoming.
I no longer chase wholeness; I grow toward it. Each step forward feels like a softly answered prayer. Each mistake is a teacher wearing mercy’s face.
Hello, my name is Home.
I’ve built her out of truth and trembling. My walls hum with every “You’re not alone.”
I once needed to hear it myself. And when they ask me who I am,
I’ll smile and say—
"I am the space between the wound and the wonder. I am what happens when you finally let the light write your name."
